The Weinam Creek ferry terminal required specialized methodologies and equipment to effectively remove sediment buildup, particularly beneath the ferry terminal pontoons. Divers were deployed in the surrounding areas and directly under the pontoons to mitigate any risk to structural integrity, while ensuring uninterrupted service for residents relying on the ferry.

The remainder of the project used hydraulic excavation to remove the sediment. Transported to the dredge via smaller more maneuverable barge.
